POST 49  HONOR GUARD

Firing Squad Color Guard Taps

The Honor Guard is one of the most visible units of Post 49.

The Honor Guard consists of a Firing Squad, Color Guard, and provides "Taps".

It is an honor to be able to provide our comrades the military funerals they so deserve.  In addition to providing military funerals, the color guard marches in parades, presents "The Colors" at various events as well as participating in other Post 49 activities.

We are always looking for volunteers to join the Honor Guard. If you are interested in joining or would like additional information, please contact the Honor Guard Commander:

Commander: Mike Sutton

Phone: 937-218-2511   E-Mail: mdsutton@cinci.rr.com

Any time that you can give is appreciated.  You do not have to march to join the squad, we have something for everybody.

Regular Legion Members, Auxiliary Members, Sons of the American Legion, Legion Riders, and 40 & 8 Members are all welcome to join the Honor Guard.
